Sarracenia × readii, or Readii's Pitcher Plant, is a naturally occurring hybrid between Sarracenia rubra and Sarracenia leucophylla, found in the southeastern United States. This hybrid combines the upright, refined form of rubra with the bold white areoles and fall vigor of leucophylla. Pitchers are typically green to red with striking white windows and red veining, especially in cooler temperatures. Plants often grow in dense clumps and are known for their strong performance later in the season. Our clone of this hybrid produces large, show-stopping red flowers that provide a vibrant autumn display.
