Sarracenia alata 'Red Tube' (Atropurpurea Form)

Sarracenia alata 'Red Tube' (Atropurpurea form) is a rare color form of the Pale Pitcher Plant native to the southeastern United States. It produces tall, elegant pitchers that develop intense red to deep purple coloration from the base to the lid, especially with strong light exposure. Unlike many Sarracenia species that retain green tones, 'Red Tube' plants can achieve a nearly solid red appearance throughout the growing season. This form is highly prized by collectors for its consistent, vivid pigmentation and classic upright trumpet shape. Our clone represents the sought-after atropurpurea form, known for its uniform coloration without green markings.
