Pinguicula emarginata x hemiepiphytica is an in-house, hybrid butterwort, created around 2021, known for its beautiful violet-eggplant colored flowers with patterns similar to P. emarginata and its ability to develop reddish foliage under intense light. This beginner-friendly plant thrives in high humidity (60-85%), moderate light, and requires consistent moisture, though allowing the soil surface to dry slightly between waterings during its succulent phase. 

Pinguicula change leaf form in response to seasonal changes and conditions, particularly for Mexican and other tropical species
