Pinguicula agnata. This species is from El Lobo, Querétaro , Mexico. This is a large rosetted species that forms broad rounded leaves that blush a light red color under strong light. This is a extremely dewy species causing it to glisten in the light. This species grows quite vigorously and is able to acclimate to a wide range of conditions. Due to its large fleshy leaves, leaf pulling will often strike resulting in several baby plants.
Pinguicula change leaf form in response to seasonal changes and conditions, particularly for Mexican and other tropical species
