Osmocote Plus (slow-release plant food) contains all the essential nutrients to boost the growth of your plants! Commonly used in Canada and the States, Osmocote has been heavily tested and has been shown to boost the speed of growth of carnivorous plants while also causing significant jumps in leaf size, pitcher size and peristome coloration.

How to Use

At Canadian Carnivores we place 1-2  pellet in most of our Nepenthes, Sarracenia, Cephalotus and Heliamphora every few months, and have experienced phenomenal results.

*Osmocote can also be used sparingly in root fertilization but this should be reserved for experienced growers.*

Prevent Plant Burn: Do not overapply the product, as it can cause plants to burn.

Wear Protective Gear: Always wear gloves, protective clothing, and eye/face protection when handling Osmocote Plus. 
Avoid Skin & Eye Contact: If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. 
Manage Dust: Take precautions to avoid breathing dust, such as ensuring adequate ventilation and avoiding excessive dust generation during handling. 
First Aid for Ingestion: If ingested, wash the mouth with water and seek immediate medical attention. 
First Aid for Inhalation: Move the person to fresh air and seek medical attention if symptoms develop.
