Drosera spathulata, or the spoon-leaved sundew, is a rosette-forming sundew with spoon-shaped leaves. D. spathulata naturally grows throughout southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Given its wide native range, D. spathulata is an incredibly hardy and easy to care for sundew that is perfect for beginners. D. spathulata will turn a beautiful scarlet red color under high light conditions. This species readily produces pink multi-flowered scapes that will produce generous amounts of seeds which can be harvested or left to naturally fall and propagate.
