Lighting

Most full spectrum light will do, however these are the lights that we personally use at Canadian Carnivores as well as some options that other large growers and hobbyist use. We stick to LED (light emitting diodes) as they are the most efficient lighting option on the market. LEDs have a lower power consumption, longer lifespan, release significantly less heat, are better for the environment and ultimately save you money in the long run!

We primarily use the following Linear LEDs as they are efficient for racks and vertical setups. We have tested both white light and warmer lights with similar results. Warm light options might be a worthwhile consideration for living room or frequently used rooms as its gentler on the eyes.
